People Count People Count analytics count the number of people that pass through a designated area. People Count reports can be used to determine staffing levels or customer conversion rates. View Demo Return to Top

People Count Direction People Count Direction counts only the number of people that pass through a designated area and are moving in a specified direction. People entering a building will not be counted a second time upon exiting the building. This is especially useful for businesses that want to know the number of customers who entered over a certain time frame. Return to Top

Direction Direction analytics send a notification when people or objects move only in a designated direction. Direction can be used to ensure that entrances and exits are used properly or that people are not moving toward a vulnerable or dangerous area. View Demo Return to Top

Face Capture Face Capture analytics grabs faces of everyone who enter a specified area. Face Capture images can be used to cross reference authorized personnel or detect known criminals. View Demo Return to Top

Perimeter Perimeter analytics send notification only when movement enters a designated zone. Perimeter differs from Activity in that only new objects entering a zone will trigger an alert where as moving objects within the zone do not. Return to Top

Forensic Analytics Forensic Analytics allow users to select recorded video that may or may not have had analytics running on it and then select a timeframe and a type of analytic. This allows users to go back in time and apply analytics to video that did not have analytics running on it. Return to Top

Dwell Time Dwell Time and loitering keeps track of how long someone is waiting in a defined area. This can be used to identify people loitering in restricted areas or to identify people waiting in line for service in a retail application. Object Taken Object Taken allows the user to identify a specific object, for example, a valuable piece of artwork, and generate an event and send an alarm if the object is taken. Return to Top

Audio Integration: Audio Based Notifications on Video Analytics or Events The NLSS Gateway has a number of pre-recorded audio files that can be played based on events. Customized audio files in MP3 or WAV format can also be loaded on to the NLSS Gateway. Any video analytic event can be used to set up an audible alarm on the client or through the audio on IP cameras. When a person has exceeded the loitering time limit a pre-recorded message can be automatically played to inform the individual that they are loitering in a restricted area and they need to leave immediately. Loitering, Perimeter and Activity Analytic can be used with predetermined schedules, such as between 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. This ensures the audio notifications are directed to individuals in off-limits areas during high-risk time periods. Areas in and around facilities during late hours can be automatically monitored . Potential criminal offenders can be scared off by audio notifications and automatic lighting.
